Dollhouse Update

This is such a nice quick stitch that it's a pleasure to work on it sometimes....keeps me from totally losing my mind. I did however figure out that they should have warned me that I would need more than one skein of some of the brown colors. I'm not too worried because there are three or four shades of brown so if for some reason the DMC dye lots don't match exactly I don't think it will be at all noticeable (I've never had a problem with DMC dye lots anyway as long as I buy the floss within the same decade....lol).

Weekly Update - MawMaw's Quilt

This week's project was MawMaw's Quilt. I don't feel like I got a ton done (which is funny, because I had a holiday Monday and didn't work Wednesday or Friday - new part time schedule), but so be it...it's what got done! LOL I was feeling like I had neglected my dollhouse since I didn't work every day this week (and it's my lunch time project) so I spent some time over the weekend stitching on THAT! But...that's a subject for my NEXT entry since I can't seem to figure out how to put more than one picture in a blog entry (well, I can, but I can't seem to control WHERE they go in the entry!)

Angel of Cross Stitch Update

Well, this week was Angel of Cross Stitch in my rotation. This is one where I never feel like I made a bunch of progress during the week. There are just so many confetti stitches, it's hard to see a lot of progress. I did finish the border on the bottom, and I got the hands done (well, the hands on page 1, they carry over to page 2, but I'm not there yet. Also, they're tiny, but there's a pair of scissors kind of hanging on the stand that her stitching is on, and those are done too.

Now I'm working on Maw Maw's Quilt. I also kitted up Snowman Trio as my next travel project. It's by Stitchy Kitty, and it's really cute (which I would say, of course....how many people would say "My next project is really ugly"...LOL). Here's the link: http://www.stitchykitty.com/SKST15.htm

Monopoly Update

Well, I've started the fourth (and final) side of Monopoly, so I'm feeling like the end is in sight!!! For some reason, the close up function on my camera ended up taking a blurry picture of the corner, but I'm sure you get the idea.

Now this week it's time to stitch on Angel of Cross Stitch.......

Book of Ink Circles Update

Here is my latest BoInk update. A new block was released today (beyond the one that I'm partially done with) so I'm still a bit behind...and I still have border to fill in. But, alas, the week was up, and now I'm stitching on Monopoly. By the time it comes up next in the rotation, it will be time for the final block to come out! LOL

Now I'm working on tracking down the latest issue of Just Cross Stitch - because Tracy's got a really gorgeous pattern in there! LOL
