Well, I finished page 2 of Boulevard of Dreams, my first ever HAED - I've been tracking some statistics just because I'm a geek that way:
Page 2:
Started - 7/8/11
Finished - 3/18/12
Days Stitched - 29 Days
Time Stitched (Page 2 only) - 61 Hours
Time Stitched (Project to date) - 140 Hours
Stitches (Page 2 only) - 7,546
Stitches (Total Project so far) - 15,386
Percent Completed - 7.33%
I don't normally keep track of my stitching time, but for this particular project I have an Excel spreadsheet that I open up each time I start stitching and track it. I know when I'm done, people will ask, and I will want to know, how long it took me to stitch it! LOL
And - by way of comparison - here is how much is done in relation to the whole project - YIKES!!!!!

I have never stitched a HAED, now I know why! LOL
Yikes is right! I'm looking forward to seeing your progress on it.
Progress is progress. They are long term projects, have yet to start my second one.
I have yet to do a HAED, from what I have seen from others who have done it, it looks very time consuming and detailed. But the end results are always beautiful as well.
Hello
I've never attempted a HAED because I wouldn't get it finished.
I will enjoy watching your progress.
Hi Kathy! I was in Vegas over the weekend, we had a room with a view of the strip. I was up early and watched the sunrise and thought of your HAED, and now here it is! Looking good. :-)
Can you keep track of my Haed too? LOL
Seriously you are not alone in the Geek department. I would do the same thing if I could remember to. Beautiful work and Keep on stitching.
It will be exciting to see the start of a building soon! I need to get back to my HAED someday. I have only done 200 stitches. Your stats are great!
Wow! I'm just speechless. You've gotten so much stitching done this year. I've read your blog and enjoyed your stitching choices very much. I love the Lizzie Kate Christmas and the St Patty's too. I like the changes you made. I don't think I could ever start a HAED project. Since I've just started cross stitching after about 15 to 20 years I've decided that I don't want to have to many UFO's hanging around. So far I'm good but you should see the stack of charts I've "collected" since I started in December. Like I said its a collection. Gives me permission to have them but not stitch them! Great work Kathy!
I have quite a few HAED patterns but have yet to start my first one, such a good idea of yours to keep track on how long it has taken you so far. Well done on the progress
You are doing a good job!
Nice going Kathy. I've got 2 HAEDs on the go. They can be a pain at times especially with all the confetti but its so satisfying when you reach the bottom of yet another page.
I'm just working on page 8 of Mask of Colours which is nearly finished so only another ....... pages to go:)
Your HAED is progressing, and that's what counts.
I love your statistics :)
Good progress!
I TOO AM LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE YOUR PROGRESS...
WOW!!! I don't know if I could be that disciplined as to always REMEMBER to open the spreadsheet, but I think it would be interesting to keep track of a BAP like that. I have a few HAEDs on a wishlist, but won't go any further until I have finished my own BAP which is Tereza Wentzler's Peacock Tapestry...and that will take an absolute AGE to stitch...sigh:)
Keep up the good work! X Ylva (CCS)
