This was a fun weekend - an all day stitching session at a local store (8 of us from our So Cal stitching group) and then a Super Bowl party today. I didn't really care who won the game, but I came within one touchdown of winning $300 in a Super Bowl pool! But alas, the Colts missed their last opportunity to score - if they would have made the touchdown, I would have had the money! LOL

Angel of Cross Stitch / Chirstmas ABC's
Well, I took a picture of Angel of Cross Stitch LAST weekend, and never posted it to my blog. So here it is in all it's glory - made a little bit of progress on the border.
And here is Christmas ABC's. The floating equal sign is actually two stripes in an ornament - I just stitched them because I had a short length of red floss left and rather than wasting it or tucking it away, I figured I might as well just use it up!

Your angel looks quite pretty. Love also your Christmas ABC.
What a bummer that you JUST missed out with winning a price. On the bright side...it sounds like you had a great weekend.
What a fun weekend...nothing like stitching with a group of friends. Your WIP's look good and Angel should be finished soon.
Love your stitching! AOXS is wonderful and ABC is really growing.
All look gorgeous. You do some great work.
Really like the Christmas ABC's.
Great progress work on your ABC's. And your Angel is beautiful. I wish I lived closer to the group to get together with you gals. But it's just a bit too far.
Yes, we all wish they'd scored that touchdown (and another)! But it was a good, clean, close game - don't get much better than that. Angel is almost done - what an accomplishment!
AOCS is lookin' good. You are making great progress on that dreaded border. Love the L*K piece.
Both look great, Kathy.
Both look very pretty.

Lots of good stitching going on. Glad you had some time to enjoy it this weekend.
You had so many lovely stitches on the go that I couldn't decide which to comment on so I will just write it all here. I really love AOCS. It looks like you are well on your way to a finish there. Christmas ABC is so pretty! Sorry that you didn't win the pool. I know that would have made for some great stashing.
The angel is almost done - how exciting that must be. I love the colours in the Christmas sampler, too.
That Angel of Cross Stitch is so beautiful! I still remember the first time I saw it in one of the CS magazines years and years ago. I always wanted to do that one someday. I love your ABC also!
You're on the home stretch with your border!!!! That's a fun LK piece. I was with someone Superbowl that one $850!!!! He had to pay $100 for the ticket.
I love your Angel of Cross Stitch. I could see myself stitching something like this. It's really beautiful.

The angel is GORGEOUS. I can't wait until you finish her.
